After three years working in an advertising agency, Patrick O'Connor left to create a new company dedicated to delivering communications solutions in an environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, innovation, passion, and success. He opened o'connor/creative on the second floor of the historic Old Court House building in downtown Evansville in July, 2001. In January of 2008, in an effort to simplify his life and reduce overhead, Patrick moved the business to a fully-wired, fully-equipped office at his home in McCutchanville.

An award-winning writer, producer, and feature film and commercial director, O'Connor has written screenplays for the likes of Steven Spielberg and Kate Hudson. He helped to create and he hosted a live radio talk show, Tri-State Matters, which currently airs on public radio WNIN 88.3. And he also writes the popular column "He Said, She Said" for Evansville Living Magazine with his wife, novelist Margaret McMullan.

Patrick's current and recent community involvement includes:

WNIN Board of Directors (current)

Tales & Scales Board President (2006)

EVSC School-Community Council Steering Committee

Evansville All-America City Committee (wrote winning application and presentation)
